IMO when you really get down to it technique is most important


cleaning your threads, using oil, keeping away from extensions, etc. is more important than how "good" your wrench is

torque wrenches really aren't that accurate anyway, they get you in the neighborhood but you are still giving up a lot. What you think is 180 ft lb isn't really 180, probably not even to a 10% degree of accuracy from one bolt to the next

So follow the rules of the road and the wrench is a lot more likely to "make" your effort successful
